Fruity King Mobile Casino launched last year on the backs of it’s popular sister sites LadyLucks and Winneroo. As part of the Probabiltiy family, it’s no surprise that it became a fast success. A year later and it’s a site well known for it’s large collection of games and it’s more than handsome welcome packages. Currently powered by ProgressPlay, the site has significantly expanded and launched it’s own desktop site too. We’re taking a look at what’s made this casino what it is today and what’s changed in the past twelve months.

Of course, with ProgressPlay’s games collection on board, the range of slots has expanded exponentially, yet we’re still a little sad that it’s the end of those unique games we came to love.
That being said, you can now play popular titles like Pandamania, Esqueleto Explosivo, Hot as Hades and Starmania. With over 250 slots on offer, there’s definitely something for everyone, and as part of the ProgressPlay expansion, you can now even access these games on desktop – a new move for Fruity King.
There’s still a decent amount of progressive jackpots too, with Microgaming’s Thunderstruck II and King Cashalot becoming increasingly popular on the site. In addition, when you get bored of slots, there’s now plenty of varieties of Roulette and Blackjack, plys some live casino rooms and scratchcards too.
When we first reviewed Fruity King, we noted that it would have been nice to see some exclusive content – and the same comment can be made today. Whilst we’re glad Fruity King has grown in size, the same collection it now boasts can be easily found elsewhere.

The ProgressPlay takeover may have delivered in some areas, but we’re quite let down with what Fruity King are now offering their new players. Let’s serve up the good news before the bad. New players are treated to:
- 100% First Deposit Match up to £200
This means that anything you deposit will be doubled and you’ll have extra cash to play with. So, for instance, deposit £200 and you’ll see £400 in your account.
However, any loyal Fruity King player will notice that this is definitely a smaller reward than the casino has offered in the past. It’s dissapointing, of course, but at least under their new management Fruity King has been able to extend this bonus to all players – irrespective of your depositing method.

Promotions could be said to be ProgressPlay’s forte and Fruity King has benefited from their takeover in this department. There’s now 6 weekly promotions and seasonal offers too, which means there’s a chance to get your hands on a freebie almost every day! Here’s some of our current favourites:
- Game of the Day – Every Wednesday, Fruity King players keep their eye on their email inbox in suspense and anticipation. They’re awaiting an all important message, and you could be too. Fruity King are selecting one game per week and rewarding players with free spins! Just look out for the email with that week’s details and then simply log in and play! You need to have made a deposit within the previous 7 days to qualify and all spins are valid every Wednesday from 00:00-23:59.
- Cash Back Day – Fruity King are raising mid-week spirits by helping you celebrate the fact it’s almost the weekend. They’re offering players 10% cashback every Thursday! You need to have deposited £30 on the day to qualify, which can be done either in one single deposit or cumulatively over a few deposits. The 10% bonus will be added to your account immediately so you can relax knowing that Fruity King have got you covered.
There’s plenty more promotions where they came from, and we think this is one of the biggest improvements Fruity King has made in the past year. Of course, wagering requirements must be met before you can withdraw and, unfortunately, these are set pretty high (50x). That being said, with so many great bonuses up for grabs, there’s sure to be something to suit everyone.
Fruity King has covered all the basics with:
- Credit/ Debit Cards – Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo
- Pay by Phone
- Paysafe Card
- E-Wallets – Neteller and Skrill
This is a comprehensive list and allows players to pick and choose how they want to deposit. The option of Pay by Phone is something that makes us very happy, here at Droid Slots, as mobile billing is really convenient. All you have to do is confirm the payment via text message. It will then charge your casino deposits to your monthly phone bill, or deduct it from your prepaid phone credit. You can choose this option with any UK mobile phone network, including Three, O2, Vodafone, Virgin Media and EE.
Minimum deposits vary across methods so it’s a good idea to contact customer services before selecting a banking option. All deposits are processed instantly and no fees are charged for using whichever method.
Fruity King allows players to withdraw up to £1,500 per day, or £3,000 per calendar month. with no charges involved. You can withdraw via credit/debit card, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafe Card, bank transfer or cheque. There’s a minimum withdrawal of £20 for most methods, however this rises to £50 for bank transfers. All withdrawals will be held for a three day pending period
So What’s Changed?
Since Fruity King changed hands, we’ve seen a lot of changes made by their new operator ProgressPlay. One of the biggest and most noticeable changes is that Fruity King can now be accessed via desktop. This is a great change for the site as it opens up the possibility of playing to more and more members and it goes hand in hand with the new roster they’ve acquired too.
ProgressPlay are well known for their impressive games collections, which feature hundreds of titles from a variety of software providers. It’s great to see this at Fruity King and it ensures that they’re staying up there with some of the biggest casino names. The downside, however, is that the unique Probability games Fruity King launched with are gone. Whilst over 200 new slots is definitely a great move for the site, we’re anxious that Fruity King might have lost it’s personality in the takeover, and now appears just the same as any other ProgressPlay powered site.
On the upside, ProgressPlay have given Fruity King a wealth of promotional material. Whilst the welcome bonus might be disappointing to some players, the daily bonuses certainly help out. We’re also impressed with the functionality of their new mobile casino app – it’s well designed, easy to use and looks very smart. All in all, Fruity King have come a long way since their launch last year and we’re looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for the site.
Other casinos like Fruity King
Pocket Fruity – This fun-loving casino offers unique mobile slots that you cannot find anywhere else. You must try their Fusion Slots, which merges popular mobile games like Candy Crush with the traditional slots format. Their progressive jackpots are also worth thousands of pounds! This casino, like Fruity King, also accepts deposits via phone bill, which means you can top up with your phone credit.
Fruity King has been one to watch since the minute it launched. However, with the old Probability powered site gone, the ProgressPlay takeover has confirmed that Fruity King still has some way to go. The new browser site is a step in the right direction and we love how many more games are available now. However, the downside has to be a lack of personality from Fruity King. There’s no original content, no exclusive games, and the same promotions you can find at any other ProgresPlay site. For the takeover to be successful we’d love to see some new features. However, Fruity King remains a cosy place to play at and we’ll just have to wait to see what the future brings!
