Review: Coinfalls – Simple Yet Refreshing

CoinFalls Casino Feature ImageThere’s nothing better than stumbling across a gem of a casino, and we think NEKTAN‘s newest site, Coinfalls, is just that. With a small but cleverly selected range of games, a great welcome package and a brilliant site design, it’s a lesson in how to do things right. Offering a range of depositing options, including mobile deposits, Coinfalls has this reviewer completely sold.

Nektan LogoThe games at Coinfalls are all part of a  pretty standard collection that we’ve come to expect from NEKTAN casinos.  Featuring a range of their own games and a few NextGen favourites, NETKAN have streamlined their offerings to just over thirty games.

On paper, thirty games sounds disappointing, especially as over the past few months, we’ve been seeing more and more new casinos, like Mobile Wins, pop up with hundreds of slots from different software designers. However, what’s surprising about Coinfalls Casino is that, when you get down to it, you find that their thirty games are perfectly sufficient.

NEKTAN have done a great job of curating their games so that there’s something for everyone without their players being overloaded with choices. It might be a personal thing, but sometimes I feel that a too large range of games indicates a casino that’s hedging its bets rather than concentrating on doing a smaller selection well. It’s a bit like when a restaurant gives you a twenty page menu, and you end up thinking  there’s no way they can be doing a great Thai curry and killer fajitas at the same time.

Candy Swap at Coinfalls Casino

I’ve digressed and I’m dreaming of Mexican food, so in short; Coinfalls offers players a variety of slots and all of their favourite NEKTAN and Next Gen titles, from the crowd-pleasing Candy Swap to the blockbuster Pyscho slot.

I have one small criticism however, that there’s not many table games for when you inevitably become bored of slots, yet as a new casino we hope this is something they’ll be working on in future.

coinfalls-deposit-bonusNEKTAN have always been known for producing some of the more generous casinos, and Coinfalls is no different. We really love a good no deposit welcome bonus, and at Coinfalls you’ll be given £5 free to play with, just by signing up. If you do choose to deposit however, you’ll have even more reason to celebrate, with up to a £500 match deposit bonus. Here’s how it works:

  • 200% match bonus on your first deposit up to £50.
  • 100% match bonus on your second deposit up to £200.
  • 50% match bonus on your third deposit up to £250.

Whileit’s not the biggest welcome package we’ve ever seen, it gives players a great start, and an incentive to keep depositing, as the promotions keep coming…

At the moment there’s two great permanent promotions at Coinfalls, which occur daily and weekly so time it right and there’ll be something extra every time you play!coinfalls-happy-hour

  • 10% Cashback Tuesdays – Been unlucky over the weekend? Or had a bad Monday (aren’t they all)? Don’t worry because Coinfalls is giving players 10% of their losses back every Tuesday. The promotion covers all losses up to £50, and you simply have to play on the day to be in with a chance!
  • Happy Hour – Two of my favourite words, Happy Hour at Coinfalls runs every Monday to Thursday between 2pm and 5pm. You might have to make your own mojitos, but we can certainly feel the party mood with a bonus of 25% of up to £50 if you deposit and spend at least £10 on any of the games.

Coinfalls also runs specific promotions when they launch a new game, so make sure to keep a look out for these as you don’t want to miss them!

The VIP Club at Coinfalls is very similar to other NEKTAN casinos. It’s invitation only based around your playing activity for the month, but if you’re already a VIP at other NEKTAN casinos then get in touch with them and you’ll be given the same great services as Coinfalls. These include extra bonuses and cashback rewards, exclusive promotions, dedicated account managers and regular prize draws. It’s definitely an added perk!

Boku mobileDepositing at Coinfalls could not be simpler, with a clear and informative page on the many ways you can do so.  Coinfalls is also in our good books as it’s accepting Boku as a payment method, meaning you can deposit from your mobile phone.

Other depositing methods include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and Ukash. This is a great selection by any means, but it seems Coinfalls are not content with merely offering some depositing methods, they want to offer them all! They’ve promised more methods are coming soon including PayPal.

There’s a minimum deposit of £10 with all methods, and most have a maximum daily limit at £2500. The unfortunate exception is a £30 daily maximum for Boku users, however we’ve found this to be the case with many casinos, so it’s no big surprise.

At Coinfalls you can currently withdraw using Visa, Mastercard, Ukash and Skrill. This list isn’t as extensive as their depositing methods, however they promise us, again, that more withdrawal methods will be added very soon!

You need to withdraw at least £10 at a time, and there’s a maximum limit of £20,000 per week. Processing takes 2-3 working days, which is fairly quick, apart from Ukash, where the casino suggests that the waiting time could vary account to account. We’re not big fans of this vague approach and we’d like something a little more precise. That being said, if Coinfalls manage to live up to their promise and introduce more withdrawing methods, we’ll be so spoilt for choice that it might not matter!

Do We Always Need a Theme?

Coinfalls is unique in that they’ve took a no-frills approach, but have actually managed to pull it off. Too often we’ve seen casinos attempt to go back to basics, but have missed the mark and seem unfinished rather than understated. On the other end of the spectrum, we have casinos that have gone all out on a theme, and completely overdone it, leaving their website messy and their players confused.

Spin Princess Casino Logo

NEKTAN have been known to go overboard with a theme…

Coinfalls is the direct opposite of these themed casinos and we think they’re better for it. With a bold logo and a very simple navy blue colour scheme, they’ve managed to appeal to both genders without living up to stereotypes.

There’s nothing overly pink, which we know is the route most casinos go down when appealing to female players, and there’s also nothing overly ‘masculine’ either – no dark reds or steel accents to appeal to your inner James Bond.

It’s layout is clear and the menu has been cut down to only the main pages players might want to view, with the less frequented pages found at the bottom of the screen instead. It makes for a very pleasant experience as you’re not getting lost by clicking the wrong thing or struggling to find your way back to something.

Much like their game selection, Coinfalls have clearly thought about what features are necessary to provide a good service and  what’s superfluous. The result?  A stripped down casino that allows players to get straight to the point and do what they love quicker and easier. We can’t argue with that.

Droid Slots' Stamp of ApprovalCoinfalls has been a revelation for me. Whilst it’s not the very best casino on the market, and I don’t think it ever will be, it’s a perfect example of how smaller casinos can become excellent by not trying to do everything. It’s a hugely enjoyable place to play as everything you need is right at your fingertips and it has made me fully believe that sometimes, less is most definitely more.

We never knew or thought that Nektan was a young mobile games developer until one of our team members researched them. That just shows Nektan has all it takes to play with the big boys. When their games were put under all the rigorous tests that we have set, they still came out on par with the very best titles. Notably, their games are extremely responsive and can adapt and look stunning on any screens of any size.
