The Wild Chase slot is a 5 reel, 25 payline slot. The game starts at a minimum bet of 25p and goes up to £100 per spin. These wager sizes can be adjusted below the reels and the range of bets available is sure to attract all types of players. In general, the slot has a low-medium volatility and a 96.72% RTP, meaning it pays out frequently although it’s not the sort of slot that will make a you millionaire from just one spin.
The game also has an autoplay feature, which can be activated below the reels too. You can sit back and relax for anything from 10 to 1000 spins. The autoplay feature can also be set up to stop when you’ve lost a certain amount or when a single win surpasses a certain amount too. This is great as it means you can set the game to play as many spins as you like, without being worried about your balance. To do this, you need to click ‘advanced’ when viewing the autoplay settings.
The game features symbols which are of course, as blingy as the storyline itself. There’s watches, diamonds, car keys, cash, and of course our four heist crew members themselves.

The main features of the game are the multiplier wilds, the sticky wins and the bonus symbols. Wilds are symbolised by a golden X and they replace any other symbol, apart from the bonuses. For each wild that appears on the reels the multiplier increases. So, for instance, make up a payline with one wild and you’ll recieve a 2x multiplier, however find 4 or more wilds on your reels and receive a 5x multiplier.
The sticky wins feature means that any winning combination grants you a free spin, where your winning symbols will be locked in place and only the other reels will carry on spinning. The aim is to catch more winning symbols, and this feature will keep re-spinning until no more winning combinations occur.
The bonus round feature is triggered by collecting 3 or more bonus symbols in any one game round. These are symbolised by a safe, and the good news is that if you trigger a free spin by achieving a winning combination, you’ve got far more chances of collecting those bonus symbols. Above the reels the ‘bonus meter’ is displayed, and each time you collect a symbol, it’s stored up there until you collect all three, or the round is over.
Collecting three bonus symbols grants you 10 free spins. We do have to say that this doesn’t happen regularly, but the upside is that every free bonus spins has at least one guaranteed wild somewhere on screen. This makes it particularly lucrative if you can manage to reach the bonus round.

To be honest, it took us a while to be fully sold on The Wild Chase’s theme. Based in Monaco, there’s a touch of glamour, a touch of heist and a touch of car chase action. It can seem a little confused at first, but the design of the game is as high-action as the storyline itself. The game is responsive and quick to load, with the sticky wins meaning that the game zooms by and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Big wins, and ‘super wins’ are celebrated by a large golden font and the music changes pace to reflect the excitement too. Overall, the soundtrack to the game wins the coveted prize of being ‘not-instantly-muted’ and the electric guitars give that action-movie feel. We also love how clean the reel-design is, not overcrowded with too many distracting graphics, but enough to set the scene.

The Wild Chase isn’t a highly unique slot. We’ve seen sticky wins before, we’ve seen multiplier wilds and almost every slot now offers free spins too. However, whilst the game isn’t bringing much innovation to the gaming world, it seems wrong to dismiss it on such grounds.
The slot is fun, action packed and features great graphics; all the things we’re constantly searching for. Whilst there may not be anything inherently different about the game, overall it stands out because it ticks all the boxes, and it’s rare to find a slot that does this.
The Wild Chase may be a mix of glamorous and dangerous on the outside, but under the hood it’s a light and easy game. Playing is a breeze and returns are regular, if a little on the small side. This makes it a great game for newcomers, or just some peaceful spinning of a Sunday afternoon.
In fact, it’s very much like those blockbuster films that get rolled out on a bank holiday – not too challenging to understand, but all-in-all, good fun.
