Software developer Playtech has announced its new series of slots, Age of the Gods, a suite of progressive jackpot multi-platform slots that will include seven titles in all. The first of these, Zeus, is due to be released within the coming weeks.
The rest of the series will arrive later on throughout the year. This shows Playtech’s willingness to create more unity with their slots and marks the beginning of a new era for them. Hopefully it will inspire a trend among other companies so that they can do the same.
Zeus is a 25 payline, 5×3 reel slot that will offer a range of bonuses and other features which we sure will be similar throughout the series. Details of these features are unclear as of yet but we are sure that Playtech will release details closer to the release date so as to whet our appetites.
As for the other titles in the series, we so far have only the titles of these. They all within the Gods of Olympus theme and promise to be quite epic in scale. They are:
- Furious Four
- Age of the Gods
- Fate Sisters
As for the exact release dates, these are so far unknown. Like with the details of Zeus, we’re sure that there will be more information at a later date. What we do know, however, is that their release will occur throughout the duration of 2016.
The chief operating officer of Playtech said: “Zeus is just the beginning; the Gods are most certainly coming and our licensees and their players can expect a whole stream of Age of the Gods content that will be launched across the rest of this year.”
One of the top software developers in the industry today, Playtech was one of the companies last year to earn the most profit. This is likely due to an improved business model which has resulted in some better quality games such as the Ace Ventura slot.
It is also thanks to signing up new license deals with new and existing casinos so they could have a wider distribution. We hope this year marks further success with this new line of slots and that they continue to grow.
