Yggdrasil are continuing to make the most of their recently acquired UK licence as they seal yet another high profile content deal, this time with bwin.party. That means that all Yggdrasil slot games, which includes the recent Bicicleta and Seasons releases, will be available at bwin.party owned casinos.
Yggdrasil had previously held a content deal with GVC Holdings, who recently acquired bwin.party in a massive billion pound acquisition. The deal with bwin.party will simply be an extension of their agreement with GVC Holdings, to now include bwin controlled platforms.
Yggdrasil Games Are Now Available At Bwin
The deal extends much further than simply Yggdrasil’s gaming products. GVC and by extension, Bwin, will also be receiving Yggdrasil’s promotional tools such as BOOST and their gamification software, Infinite API.
The latter addition is of the most interest since it means that bwin casinos won’t just benefit from some more games in the library, but will also have gamification features added that will change the whole face of the casino, specifically, the rewards players can receive from using them.
Both parties were predictably very happy about the agreement. The CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, Frederik Elmqvist, praised bwin.party as “one of the most respected operators in our industry, so it is fantastic news that they have become the latest operator to see the value in Yggdrasil’s marketing-leading games”.
Chief Product Officer of GVC Holdings, Liron Snir, echoed similar sentiments, “We are certain that Yggdrasil’s innovative and engaging slots will prove a hit with bwin.party customers”.
The Continued Growth of Yggdrasil
Only a few months ago, Yggdrasil was a solid, if relatively unknown slot developer. Their slots were considered good, but they were tough to find, especially at larger casinos. Since the acquisition of their UK licence, Yggdrasil have been making a very noticeable push for recognition and it’s paying off in heaps.
Yggdrasil can now be found from day one at some of the biggest casinos around and with this deal, that trend looks only set to continue. With their continued development of new tech and even more creative slots, we’re interested to see what the future holds for Yggdrasil. With Mr Elmqvist at the helm, it looks to be only good things for now.
