Zimpler, the Swedish mobile payment company, is coming to the UK very soon and we’re pretty excited! Official announcements state that Zimpler should be introduced in the United Kingdom by ‘Summer 2016’, and as it’s August already, they could be just round the corner. We’ve written about Zimpler in the past, yet with it’s impending release it seems like a good time for a quick refresher course about the incredibly easy to use mobile depositing service.
What is Zimpler and Is It Any Good?
Zimpler was created in Sweden by a team who saw a gap in the market for a mobile payment method entirely dedicated to iGaming. This is what gives Zimpler the upper hand when it comes to casino users, as it means they can focus their attention on solving casino specific depositing problems. Plus, their understanding of the sector means they have the ability to produce once of the most efficient services around.
Zimpler offers a mobile depositing service much like Boku or PayPal. It bridges the gap between the two by providing players with a secure payment method that shields your bank details from casinos, yet relies on SMS verification to ensure your payment is legit and safe.
To use Zimpler you need to create an account, however this can be done at the same time as making your deposit. You first need to supply Zimpler with your mobile number, which they’ll then send an SMS message to, containing a verfication code. Simply enter this code, add a payment method and proceed to confirm the payment. For all subsequent deposits you’ll only need to provide your phone number and you’ll be sent a new SMS verification code for logging in each time.
As you’re probably aware, we like to be up on our mobile depositing methods here at Droid Slots and we’re happy to report we’ve found Zimpler to be an exceptionally good payment method. The process is quick and simple, meaning there’s no faffing about when trying to fund your casino account and once you’ve registered you can use your Zimpler account at multiple casinos.
We understand that some of you may be a little nervous to supply this relatively unknown company with your payment details, however as Zimpler is FSA (Financial Services Authority) approved, you can rest assured that your payments will be safe and secure.
Where Will I Be Able To Use Zimpler?
Perhaps one of the biggest appeals of Zimpler is that it looks set to be rolled out at some of the biggest UK casinos around. At the moment, Zimpler already works with 14 iGaming platforms, which deliver the service to over 200 casinos across Europe. These include hugely popular sites like LeoVegas, Kaboo, BGO Vegas, Casumo and Guts.
Whilst we can’t be sure, we expect that these brands will be more than happy to bring Zimpler to their UK players too. In addition, as the mobile payment market continues to grow and more casino players are opting for methods like Boku, it seems like Zimpler will prove to be very popular and that many other UK sites will be likely to adopt the method to satisfy their users.
