Revisit: Sapphire Rooms - Still Got It
We're revisiting one of our favourite casinos, Sapphire Rooms, to see what's changed since we last stopped by! When we first reviewed his Nektan casino in 2014, we were impressed by its design and we loved that it was fully optimised for mobile use. Almost 5 years later and Sapphire Rooms is still a superb choice for mobile players, with the added benefit of now having more games on offer and some very appealing promotions!
When we first reviewed Sapphire Rooms there were only 20 games on offer, albeit all exclusive to Nektan. Since then, the casino have added an extra 18 games to their collection, including a partnership with Next Gen which brings us some of our favourite titles.
We're aware that only 38 games can sound a bit unappealing, however we're constantly impressed with the way in which Nektan produces its games, and so you'll find that their small roster will be perfectly sufficient.
There's plenty of different themes to satisfy all preferences and there's even roulette and blackjack for when a slot-slump sets in. Some of the classic Nektan slots, for example Best of British and Get Fruity, can feel slightly basic however we think that's all part of the charm.
On the Next Gen side of things, there's always popular titles like the Foxin Wins series, the blockbuster Psycho slot, and a personal favourite, Gorilla Go Wild. We're glad to see these games on board as it adds a bit more variety to the casino as a whole and allows players to sample something new.
For us, a welcome package is judged on two things: firstly, if there's a no deposit bonus up for grabs, and secondly, how much is being given away in a deposit match bonus. Luckily, Sapphire Rooms haven't changed their deposit bonuses since they launched which means they're still ticking all the boxes. There's a free £5 for every player who registers, and then there's a trio of match deposit bonuses just waiting for you:200% Match on your first deposit, up to £50100% Match on your second deposit, up to £20050% Match on your third deposit, up to £250When we reviewed Sapphire Rooms last year, we were a bit discouraged by the huge 100x wagering requirements that the no deposit bonus was subject to. Sadly, this hasn't changed since then, however the other bonuses are tied to more reasonable wagering requirements (50x).
Don't let the high wagering requirements of the welcome package trick you into thinking Sapphire Rooms isn't a generous place, they've got tons of new promotions for you to be excited about!10% Cashback Tuesdays – Tuesdays are normally unremarkable, they're not quite as bad as a Monday but it's still a while until the weekend. However, at Sapphire Rooms, Tuesdays are worth celebrating as they're giving players a chance to make up for their losses with a 10% cashback bonus. The promotion covers all losses up to £50, and you simply have to play on the day to be in with a chance!Bonus Bank - This new promotion should help you beat the after-work blues! From Monday-Thursday, 6pm-9pm, you can receive a 25% bonus on your deposits! You need to deposit at least £10 to qualify and the offer extends up to £50.The VIP Circle - Sapphire Rooms also run a VIP program for it's most loyal of players. Like other Nektan casinos, the VIP scheme is invitation only, based around your playing activity for the month. However, if you're already a VIP at a different Nektan casino, then send them a message and you might be eligible for the same treatment at Sapphire Rooms. VIP status bring you extra bonuses and cashback rewards, exclusive promotions, dedicated account managers and priority withdrawals.
We've loved Sapphire Rooms for so long for numerous reasons, but a big seller for us is the fact it accepts Boku payments. This means players can deposit straight from their mobile phone, adding ease to the whole Sapphire Rooms experience.
Other depositing methods are credit/debit cards, Ukash, Neteller and Skrill; it's a well rounded list of options by any means. There's a minimum deposit of £10 and a maximum daily limit of £10,000 for most methods. Unfortunately Boku users can only deposit up to £30 per day, but we've seen this at many a casino so we won't hold it against them.
At Sapphire Rooms you can make a withdrawal via credit/debit card, Ukash, Skrill or bank transfer. There's a minimum withdrawal of £10, and you can withdraw up to £10,000 daily. Credit/Debit card withdrawals may take up to 48 hours, but Skrill withdrawals are instant! There's no fees for any withdrawal, but they are capped to 1 withdrawal per day.
Sapphire Rooms has been consistently good since it launched.
We decided to revisit Sapphire Rooms as we've been hearing more and more players confess their love for the site. It's refreshing to see such a simple casino doing well and we're big fans of their no-frills attitude.
There's been some changes to the layout of the casino since it launched but it's still as easy to navigate as ever. Whilst the overall design may not live up to it's glitzy name, its simple and clean. The necessary information is easy to access and it's got great customer support in case anything goes wrong.
Last year we said that Sapphire Rooms provides a high-quality mobile entertainment and that's still true today. It's flawless across all devices and as the casino is designed for tablet and smartphone users, it's responsive and quick to load.
It's a smaller casino than some players might be used to, but the simplicity of the site and the well curated games collection mean that there's nothing missing. Plus, who can argue with that amazing welcome package and all those wonderful promotions?
