Below is the Payouts and probability for all major bets that can be placed in Roulette.
European Roulette Betting
The following only applies to European Roulette, which has 37 slots compared to American Roulette's 38, since it has an extra 00.
The basic rule to remember is that Outside bets are more probable, since you're betting on larger groups of numbers, but the payout is lower because of this.
Inside bets have a higher payout, but are less probable as you're only betting on single or very small groups of numbers.
American Roulette Betting
American Roulette has an extra slot, that being the 00. The payout remains the same as European Roulette, but the probability of receiving bets is lowered due to the extra slot.
On top of that there are more slot options, since now you can do a split, corner bet which includes 0, 00 or one of the neighboring numbers (1,2,3).
