Bonnie and Clyde, the infamous criminal duo from Texas was known for robbing banks via highways in fast cars. That fast-paced, money-making lifestyle makes a great scene to set a slot then, right? Well that's exactly what indie slot developers InTouch Games thought too. Bonnie and Clyde Jackpot Jailbreaks is the latest slot to be released to their newest site Mr Spin, and we must say it's as thrilling as the couples' biography. Filled with action packed mini-games, chances to get your hands on a progressive jackpot and even featuring a speedy getaway car, this slot is definitely action-packed.

As mentioned in the intro, Bonnie and Clyde Jackpot Jailbreaks is an exclusive slot game produced by InTouch games for their new site Mr Spin. It's a five reel slot, with 20 paylines, set around the theme of the American couple who traveled round the states being, well, criminals. Perhaps the first thing you may notice is the fact the reels appear on the license plate of a car, which also seems to be speeding towards you at the same time – very unique!
The 20 paylines in the slot are adjustable, so you can choose whether to play the full 20 or keep your bets smalller by playing only a few. Bets start at the very low amount of 2p (playing only one payline) and rise to a huge £400 (playing £20 on all paylines). As you might have guessed from the title, there's also a progressive jackpot up for grabs which, as the game gains popularity, is bound to soar.
Handily, the slot features an autospin mode, which you can set to play 10, 20, 25, 50 or 99 spins for you. This can also be set to stop when your credit drops below a certain amount, or when a single win exceeds an amount too. This is very useful as it means you needn't worry about your balance whilst you sit back and relax.
The symbols in the game are mainly the normal 9 to Ace characters. It's a little disappointing that these aren't themed to match the slot as it means they appear quite clumsily on the reels. The big wins of the game are better illustrated and feature both Bonnie and Clyde themselves, in mugshot form.
Collect five of Bonnie's mugshots and you'll be rewarded with a 300x multiplier, whilst five of Clyde's photos will score you a huge 500x. There's also a progressive jackpot symbol which is, fittingly, a great big filthy pile of cash – five of these on a winning payline will score you the elusive prize.
Bonnie and Clyde also features wild and scatter symbols. The wild is represented by some scary bald man with a gun in each hand, who we can assume is part of the duo's criminal gang. He'll act as a substitute for any other symbol on the board (apart from mini-game and free spins symbols) and collecting five of him will also give you the biggest win available – a huge 2,000x multiplier!
The scatter symbols in the game are illustrated with another of the gang members, but sadly he's had the unfortunate fate of ending up behind bars. These symbols offer free spins; collect three and you'll score yourself five spins, four symbols grants you seven spins and 5 offers a huge nine free spins.
Bonnie and Clyde, like other InTouch slots, features some great bonus rounds. There's a mini-game called Most Wanted, and a gamble feature, which lets you play for every win bigger than £1.50.
The gamble feature can be set up below the reels and you're given the choice of setting it at £1.50, £5, or £10. This means that every time you make a win bigger than the set amount you'll automatically trigger the feature to risk your cash for an even bigger prize.
The gamble game works a bit like a roulette, offering you multipliers on wherever the wheel may land. There's 526 ways to win in this mini-game, but if you decide you don't want to chance it this time, you can always click ‘collect and exit.'
The mini-game Most Wanted may be one of my favourite InTouch bonus rounds to date. You trigger the round by collecting two or more mini-game symbols, and the more you collect in the base game, the higher the multipliers available to win in the bonus game. You can experience anything from a 10x multiplier, to a huge 480x multiplier.
However, it's not just the money that makes this extra feature so exciting. The game starts by offering you three multipliers and a spin of a reel. Whichever gang member your reel lands on, you win the correlating multiplier. After this, you need to round up the whole gang on the further three reels, which again offers even more multipliers!
We love the animation of Bonnie and Clyde. Whilst we felt let down by some of the graphics, the moving backdrop and swerving car that the reels appear upon more than make up for it. The bonus rounds are also well executed and, unlike other games designers, InTouch haven't bought into the rather boring idea that things should be simplified for the smaller screen.
Talking of smaller screens, Bonnie and Clyde runs well across both Android and iOS devices. The game isn't available for desktop users, but you can get the slot delivered to your phone via SMS or find it in Apple's App Store. The game takes up a mere 15.8 MB of space, so you don't have to worry about it hogging your memory space, or impacting the performance of your device. Plus, it's petite size means it's quick to load and we're yet to experience the game lagging or freezing.

Mr Spin is the new kid on the block, born into a legendary family, sharing the same parents as sites mFortune and Pocketwin. Like it's siblings, Mr Spin knows how to please it's players and that's why they're offering all new members a free fiver – no deposit required! Not only is the money not tied to a deposit, it's also completely wagering requirement free, meaning anything you win is yours to keep. So what have you got to loose by not trying out this great new slot? We thought so!
Overall, we have to hand it to Mr Spin's new game, Bonnie and Clyde is a winner in our eyes. From the great graphics, to the unique theme, to the great bonus rounds (that trigger frequently), it's a fast paced, heavy hitting game – much like the infamous duo themselves.
That being said, we'd have like to see a little more effort put in to some of the symbols, and a more advanced mini-game rather than the gamble feature wouldn't go a miss. We thought they did a great job at that with Dog Detectives and Pixies and Crystals, so there was no reason not to fully think out the features of this slot. However, the game has a decent RTP, a jackpot up for grabs and you can use your free deposit bonus to try it out too!
