David Gosen, CEO of mobile gaming software giant Nektan Gaming, has resigned from his position as head of the company. He has cited the need to explore new opportunities as the cause for his departure. His resignation will be finalised by the end of January. He will be replaced by Garry Shaw, who will act as an interim CEO while they continue to search for a full time replacement for the position.
A New Nektan CEO
His resignation marks the end of a 12 month stint as CEO of the company. His temporary replacement Mr Shaw said that “we would like to thank David for the progress the business has made in the last 12 months, and its continuing growth is a testament to the solid building blocks the company established during his tenure”.
Nektan has created software that is the basis for some of the biggest mobile casinos around today. Not only that, but their casinos host a huge range of their own in house made slots and games. Gosen has done a smooth job of upholding that standard and the number of Nektan casinos released this year has been a testament to that.
It'll be interesting to see what avenues the company takes upon the, what we will assume to be a relatively swift, election of a new CEO. Until that happens however, we'll be on tender hooks about the future of Nektan Gaming.
