The Rise of NetEnt in 2015 Through License Agreements

netentSoftware provider giant, NetEnt, just keeps getting better and better with every passing year. A recent survey reveals that last year, it reached a gob-smacking number of 43 new licence agreements and launched 37 new casinos during 2015, all amounting to a £900k increase in revenue. And as if that isn't impressive enough, they're about to get a whole lot bigger with more deals on the way.

Graph showing growthThis impressive list of partners is what has made NetEnt grow, both financially and in other areas. With the growing list of casinos falling under their wing, it appears the industry is slowly succumbing to NetEnt's grip on the whole market.

As a result of this, profit for the last year had gone up to an average of £33m year-on-year, and if it carries on like this that number is set to increase even further.

Easy to say is that we think NetEnt known what they're doing and that they are going to continue to do that until they've become a force to be reckoned with. They pretty much already have…

netent casinosAnd there's no stopping them. In addition to content partnerships with top companies such as Codere, Gala Coral, Gamesys and Tropicana, NetEnt have probably got a whole lot more lined up for 2016.

Per Eriksson, president and chief executive of NetEnt, said: “2015 was yet another fantastic year for NetEnt – continued growing demand for digital casino entertainment and for our products helped us reach new record levels in terms of revenues, results and cash flow.

Hmmm. We think that it may be your clever business strategy, Per. But NetEnt's excellent customer service helps a lot too and other developers should look to them as an example.

With these new licensing deals, can they break their own record? Only time will tell. We can only say we cannot wait to see what the future has in store.
