Virgin Games has got a little obsession going on, and it’s one of those obsessions which is really going to benefit players. As with so many throughout history – from Emperors to Bond villains – this obsession is with gold. The site has just started two promotions themed around the precious metal – Discover Gold and Go for Gold – which means you have two opportunities to cash in on Virgin Games’s preoccupation.
As the name suggests, this promotion is all about hunting for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Luckily, you don’t have to wait for wet weather to try your luck, as Virgin Games is offering you the chance to win great prizes by following the road paved with gold on the ever popular slot Rainbow Riches.
Between now and Friday (15th May 2015), you have the chance to win one of 3 iPads which come complete with a Rainbow Riches branded cover, and if you’re not lucky enough to get your hands on one of those, you could always walk away with one of 20 Rainbow Riches dressing gowns or one of 200 Rainbow Riches Umbrellas.
All you need to do to enter is wager the relatively small amount of £30 on Rainbow Riches before Friday to get yourself into the draw. You’ll find out if you’re a lucky winner by Saturday and soon afterwards you could be playing Rainbow Riches on your brand new iPad.
Going for Gold
Are you the kind of player who always wants the top spot? Well Going for Gold is probably the promotion for you. Basically, there are three prizes on offer – Bronze, Silver and Gold – and each of them can be won through a prize draw. All you need to do to get yourself into the draws is to start wagering on slots and mini games, with the more you wager getting you into the higher reaches of the draws.
To get into the Bronze prize draw, you’ll need to wager £30 on slots or mini games between now and Saturday 16th May, and doing so will put you in the running to win one of four lots of £200. You’ll wager £90 on slots or mini games between now and Saturday 16th May to get yourself in the running for the Silver prize, which is one of six lots of £300. The big money is when you get to the Gold prize; wagering £180 will get you entry into the draw, and there’s ten lots of £500 up for grabs.
Obviously your chances of winning are better in the higher prize draws, so I reckon it’s these you want to be aiming for.
